The Moose Cree’s knowledge and understanding of the world is oral, historical, contemporary, cumulative, dynamic, sustainable, ecological, holistic and adaptive to change. As one people of the earth’s citizenship, the Moose Cree realize and acknowledge that ‘others’ as well are striving to understand their place within their environments. The Moose Cree have awareness, knowledge, understanding, philosophy and truth that stem from their ancient relationships with the natural world. Likewise, the Moose Cree respect that ‘others’ as well have different paths to awareness and knowledge of their worlds; none greater or better than the other.
